Land Ho!

The arrow has landed, well that is what Jim's model is predicting.  And since his tsunami arrival prediction proved to be correct based on a float that was found in the Cape Flattery Beach clean up, we need to get out and start  beach combing!

The first arrows to make landfall are in Canada near Juneau and at the Northern tip of Vancouver Island.  The Vancouver Island arrows may visit the Kwakiutl nation which is of interest to me because that is where the name of my boat originated.  Komokwa is of major importance in Kwakiutl mythology. He was the king of the undersea world, master and protector of the seals who were a symbol of wealth. His name means "wealthy one" and he ruled from a great rich house under the water. The house contained great wealth in blankets, coppers and other treasures. .   I would really like to voyage with Komokwa in search of drift arrows!
